The advisor who tells you what your exit is actually worth.

I’m Micah Brown, founder of Legacy Financial Solutions in Petoskey, Michigan.

I grew up in a family of business owners. My father and uncle ran the family dealership, so I watched the real version of ownership up close: the good years, the taxes that followed them, and the question nobody at the kitchen table could answer, which was what happens when it’s time to step away.

Years later I saw the same thing everywhere in northern Michigan. Owners doing everything right, building crews, practices, dealerships, portfolios of doors, all running the same unexamined retirement plan. Sell it someday. Nobody was showing them the math. The industry was too busy selling them mutual funds.

So I built a practice that does one thing: close the owner’s blind spot. Protect what you built. Keep more of what you earn. Convert it into income for life. I use tools that protect principal and don’t need a buyer’s signature to pay you, and I work alongside your CPA and attorney, never replacing them. I wrote The Owner’s Blind Spot to put the whole argument on paper.

Off the clock: I’m a husband and father of two. I hunt whitetail in the woods up here, and I’m training for a 50k ultramarathon in the Utah desert. I believe in long games, in both work and life.

Speaking

I give talks to business groups across northern Michigan on the exit math and the owner’s blind spot. Chambers, trade groups, Rotary. If your group wants the numbers talk, ask when you book a call.
